Where you hang out? My definition of east coast is pa and jersey mostly down around vineland. I probably have a few more loads before it frosts over and I gotta change over to my frozen stuff

Well I tell you what. If I get back into the NYC multi drop produce racket I'll hit you up. I've been to Boston maybe half a dozen times..

Here you go, without a trailer.Truck measures 37 feet from the very front to the very back. We keep the fifth wheel almost all the way back because of the weight on the front end. It is a bit heavy up front and it is only a 14,600 front end.

I want to know the companies that are smaller that run those kind of trucks.

Honestly I have no idea as I have never hauled heavy with it. The truck as it sits there is just a hair over 23,000 lbs. The trailer I pull has a non moveable set of closed tandems. With it as close to 80,000 pounds I still have about 1,000 pounds of room on both the drives and the tandems of the trailer. The steer axle is very close to 14,000 lbs at that point and that is with the fifth wheel all the way back and no chains or extra equipment on the truck. My company doesn't have set trucks for drivers. When they have a run it is with a truck and they get the driver that is available. I could be driving anything from a Volvo to that and every thing in between. I do tend to pull one of two trailers a lot of the time and they are a step deck dry van with a big genset housing on the front of it which looks a lot like a reefer unit.
