It's Freightliner, what did you expect?

I've been doing some research on these locks and they are called cam locks. They also are called baggage locks or baggage door locks.

Apparently RVs and some trailers and locking side doors for tool boxes use that same type of a lock. The tricky part with this is because the cam part of it has such an angle on it I'm not sure if one that was longer with a straight cam would work. The part that the cam fits into looks different on the Freightliner, so you can't use the same cam over again.

I do not have an escape door on my sleeper. If you have one on yours could you check to see if that's the same lock that's on the small doors?

That's a similar idea but the problem is that the hole in the door is cut for that particular lock. Those locks have some kind of a shoulder that that clip fits under. The door locks are the same way on the truck, they have a shoulder that the clip fits under. But these are threaded and they have two flat sides that fit right into that sleeper door.

If you have a set that would be awesome.

I know there is a bag with a bunch of old(new)lock's and key's. Because drivers never lose them. Always replaced in sets. I'll find it in the morning and send a picture.

Keep searching - I got bent over royally by KW years ago for headache rack locks, to find they were generic and readily available at tool box manufacturers.

Dad was a locksmith 30 years ago - he knew then it was a dying art. Wish I’d learned what he knew back then.

Oddly enough, they’re a good go-to on certain generic parts. At least the dealership here.

    Thank you for finding then.

I'm not sure but I don't think that would work with what's on my truck.

The doors themselves are cut to accept a lock that has two flat sides.

And the cam part has such a bend in it I don't know if a straight cam would reach my lock or not.

    .
    Vin is 566099.

I called a dealer in North Jersey and they gave me this part number.

    A22-41802-001

She said that is only sold as a complete set for the entire truck.

She said $120 and at least three weeks to get them. So I'm still looking around.

I appreciate the help whatever you can do.
