    Gotta drop in to Florida for the first time in years tomorrow. I'm seeing mixed things on Google. Is my EZpass compatible with Sunpass nowadays?

    The latest thing that I saw said that they were fully integrated in June of 19.

    The EZ z Pass in Florida will work on the central Florida expressways, not the turnpike. Still need to use Sun Pass for turnpike

    I'd you get a sunpass pre pay it a lil to get it operational and then let them bill you. They are a ####ing mess with billing and have been for about two years now. The state is actually in the process of taking bids for a new company to run the program because it's gotten so bad.

    If you have the EZ Pass Elite (or Plus, I forget what mine is called) it works with everything in FL.

    To be sure, mine is a cream color, about 8" long, PrePass lights on the left front of it.

    edit:
    Looked it up. Mine is the "Elite Pass" from Ez Pass. I've used it from Wildwood to Ft. Pierce, from Homested to Ft. Pierce, on the Sam Houston Tollway around Houston and everywhere the normal EZ Pass works.

    Stop at the first welcome center you come to and get a Sunpass transponder out of the vending machine. Makes Florida a lot more bearable.

    Ezpass only works on parts of 417 and 528, all of 408, should be all of 429 and 414, these are roads controlled by the Central Florida Expressway Authority around Orlando. Their system is called Epass. You’ll need sunpass, prepass elite, or Bestpass for all the other tollroads in FL
