If you're going north up 395,towards Spokane,there used to be a big produce tourist place that specialized in cherries,was on the right,plenty of parking. This is the time of year for the best cherries in the world,Washington cherries. Can't remember the name of the place but if you love cherries like I do,nice place to stop for a break,and get a real cherry shake.

 

That's one of worst truck stops in WA

 

At least they have a DEF pump now.... And the hose is long enough to go to the passenger's side!

 

Do they make some delicious cherry vanilla ice cream, with those fabulous cherries? I'm there!

 

I'd imagine. Been years since I stopped there,can't think of the name of the place,but it was cherry heaven,if you're into cherries. Big two story building,and everything in there was related to cherries,in one way or another.
I remember trucking up through the Yakima valley in the summer evenings with my windows down. The beautiful natural sweet scent from the fruit blossoms,was better than any air freshener ever invented.
