I love truck stops like this. It reminds me of the J where the 287 & 70 meet.
Although it might not be as likable if the King City weren't right here.

If you're going north up 395,towards Spokane,there used to be a big produce tourist place that specialized in cherries,was on the right,plenty of parking. This is the time of year for the best cherries in the world,Washington cherries. Can't remember the name of the place but if you love cherries like I do,nice place to stop for a break,and get a real cherry shake.

I remember trucking up through the Yakima valley in the summer evenings with my windows down. The beautiful natural sweet scent from the fruit blossoms,was better than any air freshener ever invented.Last edited: Aug 14, 2018
