I seen a driver a few weeks back, he parked next to me and had a huge teddy bear in the passengers seat, buckled up to, I dunno he seemed okay but there was something about him that even my perfume wouldn't trust...outside of that he seemed okay...I just think he wanted someone to chat wit
wore out, x1Heavy, QuietStorm and 1 other person Thank this. -
I've run into e-loggers that give no ####s about that clock or an HOS violation when they've got to be home yesterday. Remember pal, you're lucky until you aren't anymore.

I hope they start kicking people out for this sort of stuff all over the place. Getting real tired of having to slalom into J's and Loves at all hours of the day cause people think access roads and random areas of the lot are spaces for them to park. And it isn't usually mega/training companies doing it. It's flatbedders, long nose KW's and petes, and livestock haulers. The first ones to talk trash about Van drivers, the ones that can't back even with a mile of empty space to do it in.
diesel drinker, al_huryn, KillingTime and 4 others Thank this. -
It got better at that J. As I was getting ready to leave in the morning I witnessed two drivers in a heated argument over who had priority over being able to park two deep on the curb near the scale.
Yep, still WIDE OPEN parking in the back.KillingTime, rank, x1Heavy and 1 other person Thank this. -
A couple of babies those drivers are,lolLepton1 Thanks this.

Excuse me if its been mentioned or discussed already... But what is the deal with parking on freeway entrance or exit ramps? I'm talking about the ones with no signs (there are many with "emergency parking only" signs). So if there are no signs... If it has a nice wide shoulder... Is it okay, legal, not frowned on, to park there over-night? I see it a lot, and if I was driving over the road, I'm thinking I would be parking there more than a truck stop.
I'm a daycab, so if I'm going very far, I have a motel picked out, and a couple of backups... just incase! -
Don't make it a habit parking on ramps. Some officers may rudely wake you up.Its illegal in the entire state of Wisconsin. As an absolute last resort. some ramps may be ok to park there but try a truck stop or rest area first.

I agree, and it's worse with elogs, a couple of posters said that they start looking for places to park 1or2 hours before shutting down, not to impressive, I start looking when I'm getting loaded or getting up for the day, then I'll adjust as the day goes if needed, ya, I'm the one that doesn't now how to trip plan, they will see if that mandate goes through, but I'm sure the premadona's will more then likely be perfect out here with running elogs, it's not that much fun.

All my yrs driving trk I was on elogs except for 1 company but even then I ran legal. So don't even blame elogs, they're not the problem, you are for not knowing how to trip plan.Opus, driverdriver and UsualSuspect Thank this.
