Is Simplot close enough to go there and try in person?
-
Yep. I have to head the other direction tomorrow to get my TWIC so hopefully I can go to Lynden and Simplot on Monday.
Talked to a Penninsula driver that was waiting to drop off- he told me to go try Reddaway- said I may not want to serve a life sentence there but that it may be a good first job. -
Reddaway will probably put you in a day cab running the city, At least that's what other drivers have posted that happened to them. Might luck out and get a line haul run, but usually the senior drivers get those gravy runs.

Navajo Express probably hires in Washington. Good outfit, but hard core OTR.
They do have some regional runs, but I don't know how that works. I've always like the coast to coast stuff.
Bluedew Thanks this. -
I also checked with FedEx Freight, but they’re not currently looking.
I would check into the Love’s position like @Chinatown posted, sounds interesting. -
Here’s a possible option (never hurts to ask...)

I actually saw an ad on zip recruiter that said no experience required. I see ads all the time that say 3 months.

I know some guys that run for Tran-systems out of that area. They have three different divisions and I worked for their reefer and tanker division. The tanker division was by far the better of the two and they hired me straight out of school.
Bluedew Thanks this.
