Forward Air Cutting Heads
It was mentioned that Forward Air was laying off people while trying to consolidate but I guess the changes came too little,too late!! Oddly enough, though, I’ve been seeing a few trucks pulling Forward Air trailers over the past 48 hours and they were in a pretty big hurry! My guess is they’re probably trying to get home before the fuel cards were shut off, if it hasn’t happened already!

I spied a Forward Air trailer today on SB I-35.

 

Going to see a lot more of it. Trucking is in race to the bottom mode. It’s going to get a lot uglier if the government doesn’t change.

 

Most of the hands running that route are running US mail contract. If you see a dark blue almost black 35 year old FLD120 just holler “Ray”. He’s an old friend. Runs night shift turn arounds between San Antonio and DFW main PO’s or airports.

 

Is Ray pulling a Forward Air trailer and does he use SH 130?
