Socks for diabetes are specially made to have no seams or pressure points. People with severe diabetes lose sensitivity in their feet and a simple sock seam can cause an infection and lead to amputation . For a trucker, this is no joke , get your feet looked at and take care!

I see a lot of drivers with their feet up on the dash where the defroster heat can get to them.

I'm sure you can get them anywhere but Harley Davidson makes a whole set of clothes for cold weather riding including electric socks. I have them. They plug into any 12 volt and I'm sure a cigarette lighter plug would work also.

I find putting the heat pointed at the floor works well and if it is very cold keep the bunk heat on maximum and turn it on and off as needed. Provided you have a switch for bunk heat/ac up front.

Are your feet purple all the time yet, regardless if they are cold or warm? That is when you are in the danger zone of amputation.

I've always left the bunk blower on low fan with full heat temp. when Temps get low but I've never had to run in the extreme negatives.
