Frozen Door Locks

Soon after 9-11 Hank Williams Jr changed the lyrics to honor NYC but I haven't seen anyplace to get that song other than when I originally downloaded it from Napster about about 12 years ago.

 

I already saw that and went and changed my post regarding that. My ears aren't the best but I could swear he's been saying "North Carolina and south Alabam" on that record for decades now. @pattyj @truckon , What does Hank Jr say on there ? hmm ?

 

it sounds like he sang it different more than once. I've heard other singers make more than one version to sell more and make a tighter bond with different cities and regions.

 

He says.... "that spells Kentucky, and it means paradise ".

There's a reason locksmiths use graphite powder instead of petroleum-based products (like WD40, 3-in-1 Oil, Marvel Mystery Oil, etc.) to lubricate locks, so I'd be tempted to avoid putting those into a lock just because it's frozen. They make lock-deicers that go on your keychain, or you could heat up a key with a torch or by resting it on the exhaust manifold for awhile.
