I’d save up the $12.99 per fill and invest in running the overhead, free flow mufflers and foam air filters. Look at LRR tires next time you buy.

When my average was $1.70/mile, I was really interested in this topic. My fuel cost was .32 cpm then. 7.1 mpg flatbed, aerodynamic truck.

Now my average is $2.70/mile and fuel cost is .43 cpm - 6.5 mpg, flatbed, classic truck. See where I’m going with this?

My company runs trucks that are built for fuel mileage, aerodynamic with all the skirts, wheel covers, and low to the ground with air dam under that. PACCAR MX's turned down to around 440 with 65 mph governor. Automated trans (10 speed) by Eaton and I think the SINGLE drive axle is a 2.64... The rear axle is a dummy axle... Two divisions van and end dump... Van fleet average is over 9.5 per gallon, some get as high as 11! And end dumps are between 8.5 and 9.. We end dumps spend a lot of time on the back roads and some off road (try doing that with no power divider, only a cross lock) of course LRR super singles all the way around.... Trust me if there was a product that could improve fuel mileage .0001% my boss would know about it and be putting it in every truck! As it is we are only allowed to put some Howes or Power Service in if the temp is below zero degrees... Verdict... There is no magic in a bottle.
