Fuel Surcharge Question

    OK, thinking about leasing a truck and have a question.

    What was the most recent fuel surcharge paid by Swift on loaded miles?

    How much more would it be on the west coast?

    Is there a site that I can visit that will tell me the most current fuel surcharge rate? None of my searches have netted what I'm looking for.

    The most recent info on the driver's portal says $0.478 per mile but that is about 2 weeks old. If I remember correctly, they set it at $0.468 per mile last week. West coast states are an additional $0.04 per mile.

    You're asking the exact right questions here beforeyou lease. With those two numbers ($0.92 + $0.468)(Mile you drive)-(Truck Payment and all overhead[bills at home and such]) you can make an informed decision about leasing a truck at Swift.

    Where on the protal can I find this information? Or is that an O/O section only?

    Yes on the O/O section. They also send out the info to all the O/O's on the qualcomm every week.
