easy enough to find. I81 exit 90, go east to SR72 and turn left.

This is funny that you guys do that when the Swift academy will not let you goal when you're backing. Or at least that is the way Milington was.

Thats because in Millington all you will hit is a cone and for your state test you either can't get out or can goal a limited number of times. In the real world you really don't want to clip the fender of that nice long nose Pete next to. Hell for my CDL test I had to keep the window up even and could not even stick my head out the window to look, mirrors only.

Of course the way Gary acts about his cones you would think it was a Pete you just backed into :)

This is precisely why the school I went to taught you to Get Out And Look. When John, the new instructor, did the offset demo he hit five cones compared to me hitting none. To me a cone is another hazard and I make sure my vehicle hits none.

    *sigh*

Millington teaches you to use your mirrors because that is what state testers require. They get you ready to pass your CDL test. Additionally, it is a closed course. Backing in the "real world" is not a closed course and there is no state tester sitting beside you. So, GOAL.

I believe it must be state by state. In AZ, we were allowed to get out of the truck and check. In fact when I tested, I didn't and the tester told be afterwards he was surprised I didn't.
