Garmin GPS is garbage

Do a factory reset and start over. Maybe your update was corrupted somehow. I've used Garmin almost exclusively and never had an issue. The one time I tried another brand, I bought a Magellan because it was on sale...2 weeks later I bought another Garmin.

 

Navigation is not a perfected system and I doubt it ever will be

 

Garmin never did have a very good POI database. You had to get them from a third party and even then it was just a list of Pilots....

Lame support message.

 

I refuse to use my Garmin to route me to the loves in Phoenix. It tries to bring me in behind it. I can see it. Just can’t enter it lol

 

Mine reminds me of my x-wife. Always repeating herself and telling me what to do... I hate it.

OP.. You should reply to Eric and tell him Garmin is truly lucky to have such a helpful product support employee.

 

I still think is a language issue.

I booked a hotel room last week. I wanted a specific room because it had a bath positioned in front of a window.

Their response, Dear xxxx, All our rooms have a bath that includes a shower or tub.

My SO is still laughing her ### off. I had to call in person after that.

 

Garmin did have a Yetti text to speech option. it would just growl or grumble some nonsence at you. "Blaugh war guhh" "yarr girr wah"
