My setup is a Honda EU3000is, with the Honeywell 14,000 btu ac with auto evaporation, it gets freezing cold in here, I'm under my blankets right now, I let my generator run all night, and the gas tank lasts for 2 days. But I have it setup to maintain my batteries charged, I leave all my marker lights on all night.

You can't set the thermostat where it cuts on and off and doesn't run constantly?Last edited: Jul 30, 2016

It is a SHARKAIRE. The best option it has is the thermostat sensor is in remote control. If you place remote by your head AC will cool untill temperature in this location reach settings.Terry270 Thanks this.

Yes it has that thermostat. On a very hot day it will run constant though. I set it for 50 degrees on high, I sleep upstairs and as you know heat rises. There were a couple of super hot days I just idled the truck for a few hours of my deep sleep nap and when I got up as the sun was going down let it flip over to the APU cooling.

I drool every time I look at that picture of your truck.
I've come across a couple trucks that I am really interested in. And I am pretty sure I am shooting myself in the foot by not buying now, because I believe the closer we get to Dec 2017,.. the more desirable/valuable these trucks will become.
My issue is with the way the market is right now,.. I am scared to pull the trigger with another truck that I am not sure what the operating costs will be, how much more I will need to invest in it after the initial purchase in order to get it to the same mechanical level and efficiency that I have reached with this truck. I put some stupid money into this truck that I will never see a return on. Its like kinda like getting married to a nun. Yeah your safe,.. but you'll never reach an orgasm with out seeking a mistress.
Beautiful truck. Very close to how I would set mine up. Maybe a smaller front bumper. Plan to flip a coin between colors to paint it. GM Ocean Blue or Ford Dark Shadow Grey Metallic. I want to do a Florida sunset mural air brushed with an island and palm tree on the sleeper.
Something like this, but a little brighter and a larger sun.
Hurstnonsense007 Thanks this. -
i think it's now the best time to get a 2000 or older truck, I'm sure they will get more expensive next year,
Btw, thanks for the compliment

I kinda gotta wonder how well those tri pak evolutions work because this morning 4 identical Pete 579s came in and parked next to me and the drivers went to bed .
I just came back from doing some shopping and all 4 of em are idleing their trucks ....92 degrees here now .Terry270 Thanks this.
