I blame A LOT of the " OUTTA MY WAY " behavior on E LOG. I helped more than my share of guys set up their trucks, that were pretty lame, and don't ask me why, the Christian or hillybilly part of me, cause on paper you can fudge the 10 or 15 minutes, the 5 minutes waiting for the gimp that can't park ( LOL ), and its no biggy, in fact it's the way it should be.

Whenever I would see someone backing in I would try to get them on the cb so they knew I was holding everyone up for them or would hit my lights so they would know.

I've seen a lot more guys pulling into the spots across the aisle so they can straight back. It looks like they're going to pull through or just nose into the spot. Second driver comes thru and never saw the first guy.

Not saying that was the case here but when I back I always try and control the space behind me. If there's not enough space to come thru behind then the idiot will try and go around my front where I have a fighting chance of seeing him.

Ive begun treating a back like a right hand turn. Keep as little space behind me as possible. To prevent others from trying something stupid, like running past me while I back.

I was at the T/A in west Knoxville once, late at night. Only 1 spot left.

Some guy pulling out offered his spot to somebody else over cb. I said I was gonna take it.

The guy wanting it, set up to back in.

As the guy pulled out, I entered from behind with my lights out. I pissed both of em off.

That's the key for backing into places on main drags like car dealers to make deliveries.

That happened to me yesterday. I saw a great spot 3 or 4 spots wide, I roll past and set up and out of the corner of my eye I see this guy headed in parked, his 4ways on, what he had done was headed in for the straight line back win. But my setup blocked him from backing up. I never saw him pull in there, anyway he jumps out dropping nuclear F bombs at me as I'm backing up. I got into my spot before he did and started putting on my shiktickers, he disappeared to his sleeper.
