Well back in the old plastic pony today. Delivering in the morning here in Hagerstown and got a back haul picking up in Winchester, VA going to San Antonio for Monday so not too shabby. Think I have only had to deliver in the NE 5 times over the last year (2 for continuing trips to get me home for Christmas). Hopefully with the move to Vegas I can knock that down even more as driving through D.C. just sucks and jogs ones memory really quick as too how awful driving up here is. Hope everyone had a nice Christmas and best of luck to us all in the coming year.

Now I've gone and done it. I went and got my tanker endorsement. Now I don't have to worry about being able to handle the Riceboro loads. It was a piece of cake. 20 questions, only need 16 right. In FL it was $38. I am hoping that backhaul calls today. The day I set myself to return to duty is always crazy...let alone having to wait for a phone call.

And if anyone here has a family member or friend who works with Hospice...may God bless them. Having a loved one in there care has made me realize how valuable their work is

Haha. She didn't see the one I had well hidden or the popo might have been called out:) Hope I have to never deal with their #### again. Oh well in West Memphis for a short break before heading to my mom's for the night down the road. This has to be the most uncomfortable seat I have ever sat in in a truck, #### my ### is starting to get sore:)

I thought it was just me and my seat(and my old man's butt). My in-laws bought me one of those 'as seen on tv' gel cushions(because it had a "truck"driver saying how it helped. Except he was driving a tiny little box truck)...it helps some...but my lard butt has flattened it in a couple months

Glad I'm not the only person having problems with his seat. I was thinking about putting a pillow in it, and my truck is brand new and the seat is fancy, but with all the gadgets they have on it. It seems they forgot to put some cushion in this bad boy. Let me know if you guys find something that helps with your posterior issues.

I've never used the truck version, but the one I have for my bike works awesome!

Thanks for that I'm looking for something in the budget of 15 to 20 dollar range lol. But I guess my posterior would thank me if I spent a Benjamin for it's comfort.

I'm not sure of the route but you go in off of tx146(done it often enough that it's a habit, not sure of the names of the back roads) but there is only one way out with a loaded trailer(back out to tx146...don't take a right on that local road at the stop sign at the end of our drive). Your windshield transponder opens the gate automatically (that little black calculator size thing). You fuel up(there is a specific code you enter instead of the fuel card, it's posted in the shipping office)...then go around to the left off the fuel island and pull on the scale(empty you just pull the whole truck on) and call shipping on CB-4. Have your info ready...truck, trailer numbers(empty and loaded if they've already told you), trip number for the load you're picking up. Then you drop your empty up somewhere in the lot around that side of the building...and you usually go around past the gate to the other side to pick up your loaded trailer. Then you pull your load back around and pull your steers on the scale...watch the display, when it says next axle move quick to get the drives on...and ditto for the trailer axles. If everything is legal...pull off the scale and down the drive a little and go in and sign for the load and scale tickets... easy-peasy
