Test results take 3 or 4 days depending on the day of the week and how fast UPFudex takes. Most orientation classes have 1 or maybe 2 drivers in it. Not like the big company orientation. You go to Jerry's office and he runs through how we do stuff...very casual...but bring lunch money. The only meal they provided when I was in orientation was when our big boss Alan takes you out on the last day. Although I did time it right and it was driver appreciation week, so I cheaped out and ate free hot dogs and BBQ a couple times.

Since it's the drivers choice of loads many times, the 8000 is the minimum they want from a driver...not a guaranteed amount. I don't remember seeing it anywhere, but it is common knowledge like the 10% out-of-route limit.

Hope yours is faster then mine was. I hit one of their most busy days of the year...the last day before school and all the sports physicals were going on...4+ hours, and you could barely find a place to sit...and the staff was worn ragged buy the time I was done. I can't count the number of apologies I got from them...but I was in the same frame of mind you're in...you couldn't have made me mad if you tried all day.

hah there were a few people in there. but not a big deal. pretty much in and out. after filling out the paper work. the interview guy said 24 hour turn around on the tests. which I knew it would take longer. but confident I am in. so going to empty out my other truck in the morning. :biggrin_25525:

Don't hesitate to ask questions or advice from your fellow Poly's. Most of us will talk your ear off if you let us (I know I have done it many times...) and welcome aboard

You guys be safe up in that NW mess. Sitting at home now for 11 days and hoping I have gotten through all my chaining up for this winter, was stuck about 7 hours on I 85 19 miles from home last Wednesday:). Ten year wedding anniversary today so firing up the grill and knocking down a couple of quality bourbon drinks.
