    That got me too.

Can you actually run for that and stay in business?

A whole $1.05 a mile! Where do I sign up?

TP out of Central Point is worth a phone call. Central Oregon also has a brokerage you can use if you have your own authority. I’m not sure if JDT out of Central Point is still loading outside trucks or not. Ram is another one to look in to.

Take charge of surcharges – CSCMP's Supply Chain Quarterly

Peg is basically the rate you pay for fuel. So you should only be paying 1.20 per gallon. In theory, fsc should cover everything above that. Someone running a fuel efficient truck might actually make some decent money off the fsc, depending on how it's set up.

Still seems low to me but yeah, people are running that way and surviving.

Fuel base line price is 1.20 per gallon. Per every 6 cent increase at the pump, you get .01 cents a mile added to the 1.05.
    Assume $3.00/gal diesel
3.00-1.20= 1.80/.06 you would get a fuel surcharge of .30 cents a mile

WOW! $1.35 a mile! Where do I sign up? That would be freaking awesome.

Fella could go broke and bankrupt in record time. Might be able to make the record books.

Seems Medford is loaded with brokers from assorted companies. I’ve dealt with a LS broker up there and it worked out really well.
