Going back OTR with Crete

For the rental car do you pay for the gas? Do they reimburse you for the gas? Ia it true you can bring your family with you as a company driver? No matter the age? Like a newborn 1 or 2? Thats what ive been told

Crete is a little pickier than most companies, from what I've heard. With the pay they offer, they can afford to be a little picky, even if the trucks aren't rolling condos. That said, it shouldn't bother you that a company is taking a week to process you. That means they are likely taking a week to process everyone else, so the people you work next to will be a little less likely to be bottom of the barrel quality driers.

 

Crete did a hair test on me, even though I had over a year experience.

 

If the applicant for the truck driving job is both drug free and healthy, in compliance with D.O.T. physical standards, it really should not matter if the applicant has to take another D.O.T. physical, nor should it matter if the drug test is urine, hair follicle, or a tube of one's blood

Does anyone know what hotel Crete sends you to for orientation in wilmer tx??

 

I stayed in a La Quinta, when i did my orientation in Wilmer, but I don't know if they are still using the same hotel. It was a comfy stay, and I had the room to myself. Free breakfast too.
