Why y'all downplaying this O/P so much. With his work ethic, he should go straight O/O. He'll net $250k for sure first year.

flatbustedbroke, to answer your question honestly, from some of the things i have read on this forum some of the things you want are absolutely possible.
If you get with the right company it looks like you will have plenty of nap time -- maybe even 4 -5 days of it at a time every week. And it seems you wont even have to drive much at all maybe 150 to 200 miles loads.
Oh come on is this another joke ?

Right now I am driving a day cab truck and the only rest I get is when I am waiting in line to get loaded. I stretch out and stuff but I can't get much rest. I think if my truck had a sleeper I could be more rested up and be more productive. Pluss I have a boss breathing down my neck and I don't feel comfortable resting if he's around. I feel like if I'm over the road it would be like I'm my own boss and I can do what I want. I hear reefer driving pays good. I'm not lazy and I want to work I just want to be independent.

So having a place to sleep makes you work harder? just because my condo is behind my seat there is no more or less productivity. I understand you on the part of a day cab being uncomfortable. Since you want to be your own boss and do what you want i assume you'll be sleep somewhere while the receiver is blowing up ur phone trying to figure out where their product is. you need to go to CR. England, they will help you and supply the lube

blairandgretchen, csk1 and Jarhed1964 Thank this.

Might as well. I'm betting they have nap rooms at Flying J/Pilots. They apparently like to leave one trainee on the register and take naps when there are 30 people waiting to check out or get a scale ticket.

    csk1 and blairandgretchen Thank this.
