Pulled into Fontana yard, 3 MT trailers and 3 drivers standing around. I asked about the MT's and they said the lights don't work. Its daylight and I'm going to Budweiser, I hooked up and rolled. In the morning I was home in Phoenix and 3 drivers were still in Fontana waiting for an MT. Money, Money, Money

I remember delivering in San Bernardino one morning and rolling over to the Fontana yard afterwards to kill time. The guy tried to make me unhook. I said "no, I emptied it and I will be using it for my next load." He insisted so I left. What a bunch of idiots!

I ended going to my usual parking spot over on Almond in front of the (now) former Schneider operating center. Park on the street, yea instead of parking in the security of a company owned and secured lot, WTH let's just park on the street. No telling where other drivers park or parked when avoiding that yard.
-
I parked 2 streets north which were mostly vacant of businesses with some other non-Knight truckers.

Yea I always liked So Cal for that very reason. So much street parking and after several years I had several of them throughout the region that I used frequently. Always preferred a company terminal if possible but that wasn't always an option.
