My fm told me Tuesday it was gonna be 3-4 weeks out, maximum 4. Home time also was gonna be on the weekends only. Yeah right......lmao. I stayed with otr, I was told the majority of the company was going to be regional only. A limited number of otr people.Who knows? The new qc thing is cool. They said it will get us loads faster. I just responded with my "departing drop" message, so far no response, after an hour. Lightning fast!

harry i have been mty since 8 am and nothing yet lol my fm said be patient lol

I haven't used the new QC system yet... Possibly because I picked my load up yesterday... send my 13 in lol.
Where are you sitting at that you've been sitting empty for so long? I usually only sit an hour if that, I usually try to ask if I can be preplanned because some places we go to there isn't much room (if any) to park for a short layover.
Also weekend only hometimes are pretty retarded. If those of us that want to stay OTR and stay out 3-5 weeks then we have EARNED 3-5 days off. It isn't right to say that you stay out 5 weeks and USA "gives" you a weekend off, that isn't enough time to "wind down" from those weeks being out. Depending on what your plans are, 5 days isn't even enough at times lol.
If the weekend hometime is indeed going to hold true then I'll stay with my regional try-out until my year is up and farewell. Unless being regional pays well then I may stay lol! But this is USA.. the pay isn't there.
But according to the FM I talked to yesterday they will be changing pay rate on a scale of the load... short runs = more $$/mile then average to long runs. They haven't decided on the scale yet though :/... -
Buyer beware! I spoke with a driver who was told about the alleged sliding scale. He's ben regional 60 days and still getting the same pay, in accordance to where he is in time of service which is about 6 months......or .29. With the scuttle going around about this lawsuit it adds a new dimension to my view here regarding pay and a stream of unfulfilled promises. Which I think most fms make in good faith. Too bad though, you know what they say the road to hell is paved with......sounds as though USA is on the clock with lots of drivers, no worries, steady steam of wide eyed dreamers to follow........lol

I agree about the home time. You get what you earn, its not a reward.
-
I spoke with a driver whose been here 6 months. 2 reportable accidents, multiple dot violations, late deliveries.....you know the kind. Nice guy, bad driver. His reward for his stellar performance to date ¿?¿
NEW CASCAIDIA! 69 miles on it. What was he driving, p/s w/ 409 K.
experience USA crackin me up. I laughed so hard today I peed a littlebigmikectn Thanks this. -
Sent in empty call around 16:00ish
still had plenty hours to go get another load.
Since then today
I sent in a return to work # 06:37
Received a load # 11:43
Arrived to shipper # 13:35
I was told when I got there the load was picked up yesterday.
Sent in a message and said I needed a new load and why # 13:39
It's now 16:24 and I haven't gotten anything else.
Sent FM a message about an hour ago and ask had he found me another load. He ask what was wrong with the one I was on. I said I sent you a message 2 hours ago and told you it was picked up yesterday, now he is working on me another load...
Hurry up and wait -
USA is a joke... Otr or regional you will just get more of the same...they have lost to much buisness and seem to be on a steady decline expect more sitting ....USA had the potential to be a geat company once but now the wrong people are in charge ...how many times do you have to change your mission statement lol all talk no action....USA is doomed and drivers will get shafted as always ...USA stock failing all they are trying to do is look strong....how can you retain drivers when you can't take care of the drvers you already have.. USA has had to change its strategy over and over cause failure is all they know
