Woodlawn tn......I 40 ....been all south east this week....a little hot but ok....gary in to so Florida then to Memphis and a couple shorty runs including a repower thru Mississippi for a few days then to searcy ar to North Carolina tomorrow to finish the week.....

 

TN on the I-40 as well.

I deliver a Walmart load in the morning then head for the Memphis terminal for a bit inspection before I get put on safety hold.

 

Drop in Indy tomorrow, then off to VA ...

 

kanab ut. taking my ten at a dirt lot next to a gas station. made it here with 2 minutes left. p/u this load in pheonix ### and going to west valley city ut for 05/08 1000 delivery. called dl to see if he ok me to go 93 to las vegas thewn up, but he said it was too far. they have me going 89n/20/15n. he ok me to take 17n/40e/191n/70w/6n/15n. after all that, i dewcided to go the original route they said which was 89n. got all the way to the road close signs and ewndwd up taking 89alt. nicew drive except for the few high slopes lol. ended up pulling over at marble canyon to ask the state trooper if i was going the right way. he said i missed the detour by abit lol. but said i was good to go this way. had only 1.75 left and he said i might make fredonia. got there and usewd the nav to find a food place and noticed i was only 7 miles from where i'm at now. so booked it here. got subway and going to relax now. i ask the station attendant if it was ok to park here for the nite and she said it was. winds were pretty strong and i have only 7250 in the box. be safe all

 

Made to the Sears RRC in Wilkes-Barre, PA. Plenty of Swift parking here, but they wouldn't let me have an empty trailer. It's nice to open the windows up and park in a quiet place for a change.

 

I'm pretty sure that it doesn't ring any bells anywhere, so they won't see it unless you get audited for that month.

They're probably finishing up the March audits about now.

 

Violations will rings bells very quick at times. I had a HOS once and I had to make a call 2 days later into safety, just to verify what was the reason, same with a over speed. That call was the next day.

 

Drove to Palmdale to treat my wife to Bj's for dinner for an early mothers day, tomorrow heading to Bakersfield to take my mother to dinner to Olive Garden since her birthday is tomorrow.

If anyone is driving the 14 or 58 watch for the extreme winds

 

i love that area and specifically kanab....that is the only way to go ( 89alt) until they open 89 thru page....enjoy the sites...I believe u will have an 8% grade on the 20 to the 15.....
