had a great 3 days off.
other driver taking this whole week off and Denver couldn't find a replacement for the 1st trip.
dl said Costco needs 30 trucks so I was gonna help next 2 days. 300 dollars a day.
had to be there Tuesday at 0300 (uggg).
1st trailer was over 37k on drives. Costco says I can't move tandem to fix.
so got another trailer and it's over 36k on drives.
he said he had nothing else so wasted 2 hrs for nothimg.
so dl had me take this load out of Victorville ca and it's a live unload here at Costco in tolleson az. 0800 appt.
got into door at 0830.
next load picks up in Goodyear at 1130 (live losd) and delivers tomorrow mornimg at 0900( live unload.) in Redlands ca.

 

131 lb bluefin.
caught 2 more at approx 50 to 60 lbs. no pics of those

 

Costco seems lame all over the place.
In Owatonna more loads cancel than actually go out, and yours are all overweight.
And you can't move the tandems to fix the problem? What's with that?
Also, if you deliver a drop load at Owatonna they will not let you take out an mt.

Costco is more trouble than they are worth, I think.

I managed to avoid a load going to the Owatonna Costco and got one going to Romeoville, IL.
A 4 hour live load near Altoona, and I had barely enough time to get here. I shut down right as my 14 hour clock hit zero.
Good thing, as I really needed some clean clothes.

Hopefully I will get a decent Costco load out of Morris. At least they are reliable.

Denver found a replacement but they flaked out for some reason so I am doing the whole trip to Denver and back to jurupa .

 

Stopped in Brooklyn yesterday at the Kwik Star to grab some supplies ... spent the night at Kum and Go in Walnut.

Unloaded at Sioux City this morning at 6:30 ... one guy was in the office in the warehouse. Scared the crap out of him. He wasn't expecting me until 7.

Loading at Underwood. Then heading to Costco in Tracy. Will be there on Monday, with a Wednesday delivery. Works out though. My starter is going south. Already alerted my shop, ordered a starter today and they will get me in on Monday.

I love those Combined Locks loads. They are always such fun.

It's always nice to get in here, though, to actually see my DM. It so seldom happens.

I was sent 2 pplans this afternoon.
The first was picking up here and delivering 124 miles away on the 30th at 0100 for a live unload.
Today is the 28th.
What a joke, and I ignored both of them.

 

Well the forms were finally sent in for my million mile and 10 year awards.
6-7 months after the fact. It seems some wires got crossed and shorted out somewhere along the line.
And when I was at the terminal I got my ID badge/keycard for the new security systems some of the terminals are getting.

I'm at the Love's in Rochelle, IL tonight.
After turning down those crap loads I got a short but nice one to DeKalb, IL. My next one is a Sam's Club going to Woodbury, MN that picks up tomorrow.
Not many loads out of the Menasha area.

 

There's a Swift terminal down the road from there I think, you reefer?
