Ran off the last 4 hrs of my 70 from central Ohio to northern KY in some freakish heavy rain on I-75. Camping at a FlyJ in Walton KY till I get some hours back tonight to finish my run to east Atlanta. Will time my arrival to happen after rush hour has settled down.

I'm talking about the Mac 2 loaded call ETA field. The driver inputs that info. For example if the preplan called for a 0100 delivery, I would put in 0500 ETA field and see what happens. If the Loaded CAll Received and Updated msg came thru I knew I was good til at least 0500 for delivery Otherwise if it msg'd back Contact DM immediately I knew the 0100 was set in stone.

I only did this when they would not tell me the del window. Interesting thing is that when I did this it would waste more of their time and energy when the CSR msg the DM asking why driver is going to be late then DM msg me and I msg back just saying I was seeing if there was a window on the load. Then she says 'just ask me in the future' I laugh because just weeks before she had told me she would not tell me the del windows anymore. So now she was OK with it again so I asked on every load. finally got a call from FM saying me DM cannot handle me any more lol and that I am on the FM board and will not be privy to del windows so don't even ask.

I haven't had that problem from my DM yet.
I wonder why they are getting so up tight about telling you the window.

Johnsons Corner. Was sent a pplan, pu pallets in Aurora and deliver on Saturday in Excelisior Springs, MO for a live unload. Two messages with the load, pick up as soon as possible and we will tell you what to do with it, and one from my DM, pu if you want and maybe t-call it. T-call where, Edwardsville, just down the road on a Saturday when it delivers on Saturday. Declined. Could not get a back up out of Edwardsville going home. Not messing around with them on a weekend.

Wyomissing, PA, taking my 10 behind the store.

I was trying to get a 34 in but they sent me this load. I had just enough time to deliver it with the 4 hours I had available on my 70.
After I sent the ecall I called the DC and had my PTA set out to 0930 tomorrow morning, since I had 2.5 hours of driving to get there.
I told him that I would only have 4 hours left for tomorrow, and he asked why I didn't take a 34. I think he was the guy I talked to that set my PTA for the 34 in the first place.
I said I had tried but was sent this load, so I figured they wanted me to forego the 34 to get this done. He didn't sound too happy about it.
Not many hours tomorrow to work with, but then not less than 10.5 each day for several days. They should be able to work with that.

Still here. Sent me a can load for West Allis, WI for Monday but then nothing from there home, so they were going to have me t-call in Muscatine. Sure do not know where, and then that went bad, and then the load was pulled. It is okay. Looking at the weather map and severe weather across 76 just east of Denver all the way to Omaha. Severe winds and hail with possible tornado's. Guess that maybe sit until tomorrow. Really surprised that there is not a beer load or another load out of the Milwaukee area that can t-call in Columbus. Definitely the last time that I come to Denver. Not even Command can help me.

This has been a day of complete screw up. Gave me the Can load for WI again ad t-call in Edwardsville. Told to wait to make sure that can get something there. Then it was pulled. Then a can load to Trenton, OH for Sunday, but first had to DH 60 miles to pick up a load on Arvada and take to Aurora for a live tonight 8 miles. Said no so pulled both from me. Then re sent the WI load to t-call in KS. My DM can not believe why Denver is being so hard in this. Accepted the load, and still waiting for the dispatch. Pick it up in morning. After up all day already just dealing with this, screw it, and it is not even due in WI until the 26th. With my luck today, probably have to sit in Edwardsville until Monday and beg for a load. NEVER, EVER, NEVER COME BACK HERE.

Woodland, CA picking up a lightweight load for Petsmart DC in Phoenix.

Delivered the pallet load from hell this morning. 3 1/2 hours to load, 2 1/2 hours to unload, WTF OVER! Pallets are usually quick n painless.
