pheonix terminal. finally got assigned another trruck. she waited till 1600 to give it to me. so by time i got into it and unpacked, it was dark lol. permits closed and 1600, so hopefuuly i can get there this morning to get the toll passes for ks and ok. got a 2015 internation. a 10 speed, so will have to relearn that pattern again.

 

p/u in pheonix at 0800 going to calexico dropyard. prreplan says to be at dropyard by 0800 this morning lol. get there when i get there. its about 0530 and still waiting to be assigned an mt

 

There's a downside to light weight loads....WIND!
I'm shut down in York, NE due to a high wind advisory. Forecast to get progressively worst through the afternoon. With only 8K in the box it was getting downright spooky so I decided to wait it out.

 

Winds currently 45 mph gusting to 53.

 

Have they changed toll pass procedures? Every time I swapped trucks the toll passes went with me. Unlike the E-Z pass, they were assigned to the driver, not the truck.

 

no..goes to truck. she once told me that if i tried to unpeel the passes, most likely would damage them. so i always get new ones if truck doesnt have thewm. unfortunately, thew guys who do the tolls in permit office doesnt show up till after 0700, so i just left without them. she said she could overnite them to a terminal. but dont know when or what terminal i hit next. so just told her i come back next time im there

 

calexico ca...dropped this load of cruched and baled cars at the swift trans mex dropyard.have 4 hrs left, so will sit here for abit to see if i get a preplan. if i dont, i'll head over to the walmart and spend the nite there. i got to the shipper within 15 minutes of appt time. had sent in a mac 22 saying i was gonna be an hour late due to no empty trailer. that woke the planners up lol. got assigned one 15 minutes after i sent it

Yeah Steve this wind got crazy for me..and I got 45k in the box. So I decided to shutdown here and hopefully it wont be nothing like this in the morning. Rolling with copper coils and taking them to De Kalb,IL.
