Medical issues, which at this point makes his choice of career questionable. Beyond his need for frequent stops is the length of each stop. Dawdling, talking on phone, shopping, and moseying back to the truck and THEN rummage around through his matching set of luggage to find something that he just has to have before getting back underway.

It's difficult to sleep in the sleeper when the truck is rolling down the interstate, especially for a solo driver

Yeah, it's kind of weird. Here he is taking a trucking job, but acting as though he doesn't need the work. I should have had a clue when I picked him up with all that luggage, then unpacking laundered dress shirts, two dress sandals, two dress shoes, three belts (to be color coordinated), and three hats to match the belts. Then asking me where the closet it... (not joking, wish I was)...

I'm thinking I might need to either super single every single day to squeeze some more miles out of this, risking lengthening his training and enduring this... or get him off my truck altogether. I'm certainly not going to risk a potential service failure and put my platinum bonus at risk, let alone the fact he probably cost me close to a hundred dollars today in lost productivity.

Somethings going to have to give.

I read one of your posts that referred to Macro 30. Can you explain how to use Macro 30, please.

Thanks for the reply. No, my husband is a company driver. I must have misread your original message and didn't realize it was only for owner/operators.

Company drivers who are diamond status and maybe gold can use mac 30 as well. I don't know much about it since I don't have to worry about dispatch any more.

    sisterannie Thanks this.
