Does your truck stereo have the audio plug? One options is to download songs on the smartphone and play music thru the stereo speakers that way. Another option might be to take reward points and get a free XM radio at the truck stop and plug it into the stereo port for now til you can get the XM fixed on board.

This radio has the built in XM. The wiring harness was bad. It is getting replaced tomorrow. I was not going to purchase another XM radio and waste my points. The worst part is that when I activated it I was given 3 months free for trial. Now 7 weeks of that is gone. Ohh well. I did not bother to tell them that I already have a account.

Only one person had a real problem with it, and he used his phone to make a copy.
The others, so far, have had their list faxed or e-mailed to them.

And I don't intend to do the shippers job for them by making copies of all the separate pages for every receiver.
That should have been done by Flexsteel in the first place.
Being reimbursed for making a few copies is nothing. I wouldn't even bother. It is the principle of the thing - that being a shipper that will not provide the proper paperwork because they are simply too lazy.
Not to mention the Swift end of things, that would accept it in the first place.

I took a big enough risk by accepting this load, which I'm sure many turned down because of the messed up paperwork. That is probably the reason everything is 2 days late for delivery.
With the first stop I got the paperwork I needed to make me happy (it was in the trailer), and I made a new CSR friend in the process.

It is a messed up load, to be sure. And I've done my best to fix things along the way.
While it could have gone bad for me, it didn't.

Well, if we ever get the chance to meet I'll be sure to have my 'honorable' face on.
    Hopefully.
There are those days that I don't reach that lofty standard.

    HousTank Thanks this.

Hey all, just thought I'd pop in for an update. Got moved down here to Bay City, Tx. DM, said I was on "hold" sorta status. I'm going to orientation with the new company on Monday, of this coming week.

Had to get new glasses and was worried about passing the eye exam when I transferred license to Texas. I'll need to get my hazmat endorsement so I'll take the test tomorrow and then get fingerprinted. Hopefully that will get back within 30 days.

Hope you've all been well and I have missed reading the posts on where you are hauling!

Moosetek13, Buckeye91 and HousTank Thank this.

I finally finished that 5-stopper and then headed to Morris for a Costco load. I'll be heading for Grand Rapids, MI in the morning for a 1100 live unload.

After that I'll pick up a Coca Cola load that is bound for GA for a Tuesday morning unload, so my weekend is planned out nicely.

I had a couple problems with the trailer I picked up at Costco, but the on-site Swift 'shop' guy fixed me right up.

So it seems the pilot for the new Supergirl series has been leaked.
    Full resolution, and high quality.
Some people think that CBS itself did the leaking.
