Talking about early loads-- once had a load coming from somewhere in the midwest going to Phoenix. I messaged them that I would like to tcall in Albuquerque but they responded that the load didn't have enough time for someone else to take it. Got to the final on a Friday afternoon, they said they told Swift several days before they would not accept the load til Monday. By some miracle Swift let me tcall it at the Phx yard.

Benson, NC. Woke up yesterday morning with another crap pplan and was removed before I had a chance. A 200 mile 2 stop sears load to WI. Then another one that picked up today and delivered in Laredo on Friday. Turned out that Gary pushed out my PTA. Talked to Dm and then got it removed and gave me a John Deere one from WI to here, a nice finish to the week, another 900 miles plus the 126 bobtail empty on top of the 1400. Then was stacked real nice. Pick up in Cary, NC and t-call in Edwardsville on Friday night and then pu MOM's on Saturday going to New Braunfels, TX for Sunday, Then get to fight with Lancaster I think for my next one. Today GPS routed me wrong. Said that John Deere is in Benson but used a Cary address. Found out when pulled in that I am not the first one. Was told that swift knows about this problem but has not fixed it yet.

Call Command on Friday and see what they have for Monday morning. 75% of the loads I pull out of central TX are Command loads. Once I figured my way around the "Lancaster MT shuffle" (I NEVER wait for a trailer solution from Lancaster, EVER) I don't sweat going onto the Lancaster planning area.

I am not worried about a empty. Dropping at Wal-Mart there. My agent already knows that I am looking come Monday morning. Lets see if she remembers on Friday and can for once find me something decent that is not heave and has some decent miles by Wednesday. Already told her if heavy and not that many miles then it better pay lots more than the Swift rate. I know that on Monday also not a problem of getting a load from Swift. My transfer should be done by then and El Paso can plan me.

Funny, I've had a problem getting an MT several times at Walmart DCs.
-
Steve, I am definitely not going to run all the way from New Braunfels to Lancaster to get a mt. Never had a problem with that DC there.

Especially that one . Its a Werner account . However there were a bunch of empties at the drop yard in San Antonio last week .SteveH85396 Thanks this.
-
Wasn't suggesting you run to Lancaster for an MT. More than anything I refuse to count on Lancaster for an trailer solution. They are NOTORIOUS for taking FOREVER if they bother to find you one at all.
-
Empties have been plentiful at Lancaster lately, can't say the same about being able to park there lately.

What, turning into another Jurupa Valley?
