We'll cross paths ... heading out Saturday morning from NorCal to Cedar Rapids.

Home time almost over ... time to go back to work.

    York, NE.

I have a load with lots of time, and not enough time.
Lots of time to get where I'm going, but not enough time with HOS.
I'll have to stop nearly 200 miles from my destination because my 70 will run out just a little too soon, for a 0630 live unload.
    CA needs more truck stops.

So my final stop will be at the Petro in Sparks, and I'll have to be driving before 0300.
    I hate those hours.

I'll only have a few hours left after delivery and I expect the planners will send me a load for a midnight pick up or something that will make me run all the next night, putting me on a night schedule.
Sorry, no. I don't run nights.

Where you headed? ... you should be able to find parking at the 49er in Sacramento ... or do you have to pull up short and wait for your hours to catch up?

For a solo driver to switch from night to days, just do an 8 hour sleeper break during the night and boom you're back on day schedule with no harm done to the delivery schedule (if a 10 hour break was needed anyway).

So they have pick up at 1700 say deliver tomorrow 1400 500 miles away-- pick up the load and jump in sleeper for 8 hours. get up at 0200 am and run 5 hours then get breakfast/shower for 2 hour break. Run out your time in the morning and get to final at 1330 for delivery.

A little bit better than running til 0200 am and taking a full ten hour break

    I'm headed to Stockton.
I'll be a couple hours short on my 70 so I need Mondays recap hours to complete the trip.
After Sparks there isn't much until Sacramento, and I don't think I can make it that far.

Tomorrow night I'll be in Wendover - WooHoo!!!
Hopefully the Peppermill buffet is just as good as I remember. It's pretty cheap with the coupon.

I stopped at the Petro in Laramie, and I'll get an early 0400 start tomorrow. I'm starting to back up my start time so it'll be easier Monday morning.
Today was 450 miles, tomorrow to Wendover is 510, then about 400 to Sparks on Sunday.

Depending on how my pu goes ... I might make Wendover tomorrow night ... if not I'll pull up short in Wells or Battle Mtn.

It would be cool to meet you.
I'll have to be asleep by around 1800 though.

My pu is at 10:30 AM ...so if I make it that far, it probably won't be until around 2200 or later ... I'll be dragging 42K up Donner.

Worland, WY. Delivered and picked up at Crown Cork, & Seal. Probably my favorite Swift customer. No drama, super simple 20 minutes total for both the delivery and pickup.

Deliver Monday in Commerce, CA at one of the easier can warehouses. Then picking up a Command load Tuesday morning in Ontario headed to Tolleson for home time.

Been running recap for over 2 weeks and I'm tired!
