Armadillo, TX. What is going on with Diesel Prices again. Just a few weeks ago in Tulsa at the QT, $1.55/gal. Today $1.85/gal. Was lucky and found some on the turnpike for $1.76. Also could not believe that between OH and IL, only a few cents difference and even in MO almost $2/gal and the big boys in OK, over $2/gal

So now we are once again complaining about 2 buck a gallon fuel?
Are you going to have a stroke when if it gets back to 4?

    That's SO funny!

    Rugerfan Thanks this.

But it will if the prices keep going up, wouldn't it?

I imagine FSC was slower to come down as the fuel got cheaper as well. It stayed at the higher rate for a time?

I've heard arguments from JCT drivers and ones like them that they do better when fuel is higher due to their fsc.

I did much better when fuel was more expensive and the FSC was higher as a result.
Right now I'm enjoying my time off. The knee is healing nicely (after surgery) and it's great to be home with my family.

inkeper, Rugerfan and fr8monkey Thank this.

From about December 2014 for the next 6 months when fuel was dropping dramatically and fuel surcharge was set on Mondays we really cleaned up. They would set the FSC on Monday but if the prices dropped during the week an owner could really score. Combine that with fuel discounts and boom big fat settlements. One week I recall paying $1.21 less than pump/billboard price per gallon.

To update, my truck got hit in while parked, guy touched my hood with his trailer then he panicked and took off grabbing gears and ripped off my bumper too. Rented a truck that 4000 some odd miles into it, it broke down yesterday and they brought me another rental, such a pain moving in and moving out like that.Still looking at a couple more weeks til my truck is done, can't wait.
