Good Night From II

Well, back for the 3rd rework.

 

And, I'm back.
At Lathrop.

I delivered this morning in Richmond, CA, and no pplan.
Also no place around to park so I headed here, 75 miles away.
I'm told things are slow here, and there are many other drivers waiting as well.

But I got a shower last night, did laundry and got stocked up on some food and supplies. So it could be worse.

 

I really hope to be out of here and to a very different part of the country before long.

And yes, I would not be up for a 0300 wake up call to simply chat.
I am too grumpy in the morning.

 

Terminal in Lancaster. Bobtail parking is at a premium. Head out in the morning for home time in El Paso. Can not believe planners. Sent in my loaded call with PTA for 3/23, home time and just received a pplan picking up as soon as I get to El Paso to deliver on the 22nd in Nogales. I swear that they do not look at what is going on.

I've had a full day of sitting at Lathrop.
I hope this doesn't last much longer.

 

Well on the subject of slots, over the years a lot has changed, way way back the machines were a lot looser, I guess due to the great economy and lots of money. But as things changed they got tighter. And I think that people just don't want to believe that the casinos turn down these machines to a near zero pay out just to make money.

Plus in my experience, if a casino is in a truck stop the machine will almost never pay out, or if they do it won't be very much. Like Reno, I tried the TA casino, what a joke, a total rip off, and I mentioned the Petros one, another where nothing ever really does pay.
