Yes the only two I think I have to worry about is IL and NE, maybe Ohio, but we'll see. My plan is 64-77-80 all the way. Its about a hundred and few miles more, than 64-65-465-65-80, but I figure I'll save or break even by not having that much Indiana ifta to pay. Plus fewer hassles with traffic and cities, etc. And god awful bad Indiana roads, that beat the crap out of any truck, no matter how much you try to avoid the bad spots.

Well after waiting 6 hours they put me in a dock to sit for more, but its a step forward anyway, yeah!

    yep!

Urgent update! OMG, I am starting to actually get loaded, wow!

My only problem is, since I've basically sat for almost 7 hrs now, off duty, with just one more hour and a change to SB, I can almost pk up most of my 11, not quite just 9 really, but still. Or I can continue to sit for the additional 3 hrs, then have a solid 10 hrs off duty, but still I will need to do a ld'd call, duh?

I am just thinking, if I show my time here in SB, I won't get detention for it, not that I care really, but still its free money if I do.

But still, the dream of waking up on the oh so beautiful and lovely Ohio Turnpike, is one I simply can't resist.

Okawville, IL. Today followed GPS to pick up and when got there, found out wrong address. It was a residential area. Then looked at the load assignment again and instead of SE19th st, it was NE 19th. Street. So went 22 miles and then back another 15. Where I was going was only 10 miles from the Pilot. The shipping office told me that I was not the first Swift. Told me for some reason the GPS always has the wrong address, no matter how many times they have called to get it fixed. Been trying MAC 30 all day, every time stopped and nothing, and then remember, Memphis planning area. And of course no message from my DM today regarding his screw up on Friday. Can not wait.

Got my short load weighed and rolling from Charlotte NC to Indianapolis IN, got only so far as Candler NC, stop for shower/breakfast and could not go anywhere.I knew I was feeling a lttle sick but boom I was in bad shape. Did a 34 thinking that would be enough but driving all night to deliver i could tell I still needed some rest. Dropped my trailer in the docks and went to bed, phone blowing up, they have freight going to California, Oregon, Washington, back to Charlotte, or Orlando FL. Gimme Cali, will have a full week to deliver and should feel better by then.

The count down has begun, something like 48 hrs till 1159 Wednesday night,

Your story reminds me of the days before GPS, and all you do sometimes was just try and read a map and hope that you guessed right. Like the time on one side of the interstate in Indy, was residential and the other side was commercial, well guess what side I was on, instead of being on the right side.

But yes, not so much anymore, but yes, these GPS directions do have a bug or two in them, that can really screw you up if your not careful.

I am glad you managed to salvage the situation. I just remembered a time when the business name wasn't the same one in the ld info, the GPS was actually right, but I passed the business, and 10 miles farther on a 2 lane rd was able to get turned around and back to the place. It happens.

Good luck on your nx 48 hrs my friend.

I hope you feel better, too much work can run your system down. Plus I learned my lesson, when almost a whole week living on roller grill hot dogs, till one of the little darlings gave me food poisoning, now never again!

    Take care,

HI, I just got to wondering, I know its none of my business or anything, but how does your situation work, by turning in a lease trk, would you have to have it cleaned out and given back before cob on Weds? to avoid being charged for another wk of expenses on your settlement? Or can you turn it in on Thurs,?

This is an awesome video, if you even sometimes just wanna kick yourself for being dumb or stupid, well don't feel so bad, your likely not as dumb as you think you are, and here's proof.

Starting to feel better already. This two week turn will produce 7000 miles. So there was fatigue as a factor and possible food poisoning somewhere along the line. I woke up this morning after not eating for 2 full days and just did not care. I could have just lay down again and never get up. Forced myself to get up and shower/ eat a 6inch subway which tasted like ash but I tell you what my body is coming back to the living.
