You are right Jamie. It is one of those.

    One more hint.
    Look in the mirror.

My truck was due for a CA bit inspection and as I was driving to the terminal my PTA was reset to 2357, so I was on hold.
I pulled in to the shop and was told that they wouldn't get to me until Monday because they were repainting the shop. The whole place was empty of trucks.
But one guy said "It's only a 90 day bit inspection", and it was done right there and then. I was out in less than 30 minutes.
And I was the last truck to get in. Talk about perfect timing.
I love it when a plan comes together.

Rock Springs, WY at the J.

Two trucks were wound around each other when I pulled in.
One truck was u-turning in the parking lot to get back to the fuel island and took off the front end of another truck.
The truck with the mashed front end was pulling a Swift trailer, but didn't look like a Swift truck because there were no markings or O/O stickers. But it looked like the 'Swift' truck was pulling up on the right side of the front truck when that truck turned back towards the fuel island. The front right tandem of the flatbed hit the front corner of the 'Swift' and nearly removed the entire front end.

I've noticed a couple swift trucks with no markings every once in awhile. Only thing on there was the truck number and swifts DOT number.

But could also be a truck from another company. Isn't UPS season coming up, where we lease a bunch of trls to UPS and either them or other random companies pull out trls.

Could be part of the mysterious Swift Ghost Fleet. All former funny green hat wearing Navy Seal Recon Ranger personnel who can kill you with only their pinky finger.

Would smashing your truck qualify for a pinky finger death?
The driver of that Swift Ghost truck was pretty fat. Was that just camouflage to hide his deadly pinky?

I'm in Idaho Falls, ID at the Love's.
I had a live unload and 2 live loads today. How often does that happen.
My current load had an extra stop, a pick up. It was only 2 miles away.

From here I am headed back to I-80 and east to Nebraska.

It's a bit strange, my fuel stops in the past few days.
We don't normally fuel at Pilot/Flying J anymore, but I've had a fuel stop at the J in Rock Springs twice in a row now. And it wasn't because I was low on fuel. There is a Love's not far away, and a TA well within my distance.
Not that I mind, of course. I'm still getting 10x points, and the extra options for showers is nice.
