If you go back in there, watch that little portable scale they make you guys use. It’s always off and never quite worked right.

North East, MD at the J.
It seems no one cares about my home time request.
I was scheduled to deliver my last load in PA yesterday, the 25th. That is also my home time request date to be in MN.
I took it because it was a 2,600 mile load out of JV, and I really could not turn it down.
It was delivered today because I delayed due to the bad weather.
I was called by a woman in Memphis just before I delivered. She badly needed a trailer delivered to auction by 1500 today. No pplan yet, just personal communication. I did it for her.
Just as I pick up the trailer I got 2 pplans back to back. The first going to NY and the next going to NC.
Those ones I just ignored as they were not even trying to get me home.
I'm already late getting home, and they can see that. So I'll be sitting right here until I'm sent a load that at least heads me in the right direction.FerrissWheel and JOHNQPUBLIC Thank this. -
Moose, call planner, Jill Arnold, at the Jonestown terminal. She's good people and will help.

Well, I did get another pplan about an hour ago.
Two of them.
The first came with a planner note to just pick up and deliver as soon as possible.
It was a bit confusing with the timing, especially with the second pplan, so I called the planner.
Turns out that except for the pick up of the first plan, there is plenty of time to do both. Pre-loaded and drops on everything, with decent windows on time.
The second one gets me to OH, which is closer to home.
I told him that if I could bobtail to the first one it would be no problem to do both. He said, no problem.
Good to go.
Mike, Frank... thanks.
I didn't need to call, but I like the support.FerrissWheel and A21CAV Thank this. -
I had that same really bad experience getting to home time last month. Put me over a week late which is totally unacceptable and ruined my entire week I had setup with the usual 2-3 days time frame space needed when you are setting any appointments.
2018 complaint list
1. Trailer maintenance, had 5 flat tires on trailers in March so far, way more than usual.
2. 10 days late for home time, unnaceptable and lost money due to refusing preplans going wrong way.
3. What pay raise?
2018 good stuff
1. Miles picking up, expected usual yearly thing at this time.FerrissWheel Thanks this. -
I was sent the pplan for my load home, picking up after I delivered the one to OH.
Well my load to OH was a bust. It was cancelled just as I got to the shipper.
I was sent another load, same shipper and receiver and times. Turns out it was cancelled as well.
CSR knew nothing about it until it was too late.
They finally sent me a Walmart load that is going to WI, but I'm t-calling it at the Columbus terminal. Then I will do the original home time load to Northfield, MN.
And I must say, they did a bang up job of keeping me in line with that original home time load. There must be a few clumps of hair on some floor tonight that someone pulled out over this.
And I like that load. Not too heavy, and it is a drop. It's about 20 miles from my house, so I can just bobtail right on home.scottied67 and FerrissWheel Thank this.
