I didn't drive very far today, and I won't drive very far in the next few days.
It is a nice 1,600 mile load, but it doesn't deliver until 01/02 at 1100.
Still, that gives me about 2,500 for the week.

It's a heavy load at 45+k, and I'm glad I didn't trust the shippers scale. It had me at ~31k on the drives, but a CAT scale showed me at 33,060. Can't fill the tanks with this load.

I have gotten 2 pplans to help with Walmart in MO in the past 2 days.
The last time I called them I told them that I would help them out for a few days until my scheduled home time on the 7th, but then I would be back to OTR. I have no wish to get stuck with Walmart store stuff.
After I accepted it, it came back as an invalid load number.
Fine by me, but I was willing to do it for a few days. I think she picked up on my dislike.

Then picked up a load there that went to Lynwood ca. Got there 3 hours early hoping to get in early since my hours would be up by appt time.
Ended up unloading me 3 hrs after appt time.
Drove line 5 to jurupa terminal.
Then another live load yesterday morning in Victorville ca and delivered it yesterday at home depot in Tracy ca.
Then came here for my ten.

    Saturday evening in Rawlins, WY.

East of here is closed to high profile and light vehicles because of wind.
The wind warning extends until Sunday night, so it looks like I may be here until at least Monday morning. Not really sure yet what to expect in snow going that way on Monday.

I have 940 miles to go, delivering in Davenport, IA Wednesday at 1100.
As long as I can leave by early Tuesday morning I'll make it. (Barring other delays...)
And I am stacked 3 deep in pplans, the final one getting me in MN on the 6th. My home time is set for the 7th.

    dptrucker Thanks this.

Lathrop terminal. Arrived here yesterday at 1730. Finally got a preplan at 1530 today and wanted me to deadbeat to Wal-Mart in McCarran nv to deliver a load a mile away from there. Ignored it.
Read this on my phone while laying I bed.
Got up after nap and saw on the Qualcomm they wanted me to drop this mt trailer at the sparks terminal and help w almart there with the surge.
    Wouldn't have accepted it anyways.
Already told swift I would only help if in so cal.
Nothing on Mac 30 and no other preplans offered. Looks like another 34 reset.

Utica, NY at a small truck stop. Delivered to Walmart this morning after driving 2 hours through a snow storm and almost getting stuck on 2" of snow on an unplowed incline.

Nothing on Mac 30 and planner said they are "very light" so I'm guessing I'll be here until tomorrow.

Weatherford, TX @ the Pilot. Deliver on the NE side of Fort Worth tomorrow morning.

Messaged a planner asking for ANYTHING going west on I-20 to I-10. They resonded with a load that delivers in Ruidoso Downs, NM tomorrow an hour after my delivery appointment in Fort Worth. Got the usual "pick it up as soon as you can and we'll tell you what's next" message. I responded with a reasonable PU time (tomorrow @ 10:30 am) and a delivery time of 01/01 @ 0800. As expected the computer rejected my counter and they pulled it off me. Me thinks somebody didn't bother to look at my PTA.
