I just came thru there. Didn’t see his truck so I guess they towed it before I got there. That area wasn’t that bad for me. However the 39 between the 80 and the Wisconsin state line were some of the strongest winds I’ve felt in a loooong time. Luckily I had 45# in the box. If I had been mt I would have had to pull over for sure.

Picked this load up shafter ca yesterday afternoon and came here for my 10 hr break. Have all day to get to Las Vegas nv. But will try and get there b4 1000 this morning.

I was hoping to deliver this load in Salt Lake City tomorrow evening but it looks like that won't happen.
High winds between Cheyenne and Rawlins in WY will shut me down for the rest of the day, so it will get delivered on Thursday.
I picked up this load already 5 days late. I guess one more day won't matter that much.

I've reserved a spot at the TA in Cheyenne tomorrow in anticipation of it being pretty full when I get there.

 

Somewhere in minnasota, holy wind batman!! Blowing snow so bad it was a blizzard at times, not to mention its -20 out wind chill close to -50 , hope yall is warmer than me be safe

 

With those temps I would need my sweater AND gloves! That's downright chilly.


By the way, I am serious about that. I do not even own a big coat.

Picked this load up at our drop yard in Las Vegas and delivers tomorrow at 1130 in commerce ca.
Btw.... no bathrooms or showers here. Getting remodeled. They have porta potties outside and will give shower vouchers. Not sure when it will be done..
Wished I stayed at the Petro or drove down to the Montebello yard since final is just down the street

Picked this load up in South gate ca.
Shipper were really slow. Spent an hour in the entrance gate and another hour getting my trailer.
Heading to Hermiston or for Friday delivery.
Had to stop here with not enough hours to get to Lodi truckstops.
