LOLs, I took a 34 there from Sunday morning until 2200 last nite. Ran another load up to PA last nite. At the Pilot in Drums,PA.

Pick up tomorrow AM and will be back at that T/A tomorrow around midnite ... though may go over to the Loves so I can scan my trip in.

Hope you get some juicy info for us, like all of the changes, the ranking system, mileage pay, and POD. Maybe put a word in for me, change terminals.

 

The Love's, Leroy, IL. Found out that the tire was missing that one tread, cause, the trailer, going around a corner and the plate rubbed that one tread. OnRoad said that they will replace the tire at no charge when I can get to a terminal.

 

They told me to remind you to swing by the shop to have your elogs installed.

That's great news! I was wondering about that, whether it was a faulty tire or something.

OK we are over here outside Area 51, got a load offer picking up outside Vegas going to L.A. Then stacked on another one from Los Angeles to Spokane t-calling in Lathrop for hometime.

 

Well. I won't be staying the night here. Another overnighter to SoCal.

Wish I'd been able to remember those questions earlier, when everybody was here!

I've been distracted by a family issue the past few days and only got a few hours' sleep before running overnight. Got here and I was worthless.

 

sitting at a kenworth shop in olathe, ks. finally found a shop, by calling ahead at injun's suggestion, that could get me in tonight. only 3 nights without sleep since the a/c quit. i was so hammered when i got to the shop that when the fella asked for the six digit truck vin, i gave him three digits. he stared at me for a second then asked again for six digits. it took me literally 10 seconds to figure out that six was greater than three, and i had actually written it on my hand before going in to the shop.

when the truck is fixed, i am going to fill the tanks, crank the a/c and sleep for two days.

 

In Kansas City what a bad night. Tried to get out of Fling J parking spot and got so close to a Schneider truck that I actually had to wake the driver up at 1AM to get him to move back so I could get out. Trailer was about three inches from the truck. So close I got stuck in that position and could not move until he backed up.

Thank god he was a nice guy.... The others waiting to get out of the parking lot where not so happy!

 

Wilco Plaza, Calhoun, GA. Del in afternoon, then dh 80 to del 380 Friday morning to MS. Looks like ending up the week b4 home time, about 1900 mls. Home time is Sun. Friday will probably DH to Memphis to get one and run it home.
