Edwardsville, Kansas...I think this makes 3 Thursdays in a row I have been here...and it is hot here....the last few days in Nebraska was perfect sleeping weather...I think the Bosselmans I was at last night was quiet as a mouse not a truck was running...or so it seemed. That place is really nice on I-80 in Grand Island...it is my new favorite truck stop.

Yep. I like that Grand Island Bosselman/Pilot, too. Good food, but they're mighty proud of it.

I'm at the "barn" in Central Upper BFE tonight.

The way this week is going they sure as hell would so I'm gonna just make them do their job right, not up to me to risk a ticket because someone else can not do their job correctly. Then I'm gonna ##### like hell if they do not pay me detention for my time after 2 hours yesterday and however long I'm there today. I just hope Swift bills them and doesn't just eat it to shut me up, only way a place like this will learn is if it costs them $$$.

If you want hunnerbunner, I can set you up with a sweet load this Saturday that delivers Sunday-- picks up in San Fernando and delivers to Torrance. Quick, short run down the 405-- easy money!

Usually what works pretty good is to take the 2 pallets that are side by side up against the front trailer bulkhead and pull them back, put 1 up against the bulkhead in the center then the next pallet center behind it then continue loading side by side to cube out. Sometimes they single/center the last 2 pallets as well.

As a side note I have noticed different names describing pallets as "skids" and "boards".

They will if you have documented all of your time to and from with QC messages. Was told to go ahead and mac 1 and 2 on the rework. Even though the message will be rejected due to already being L called - it will document the GPS as to the times back at the customer.

Petro on the west side of Nashville. T call in New Boston tomorrow. First time in Michigan as trucker.

    Cold.

Newton, KS. Enrte from Cedar Rapids, IA to Fontana, CA. Del Monday morning when I get there. Before you ask why I am south, about 70 oor miles. What I will save on climbing the mtns in CO, UT and NV, I will save in fuel getting down here. Only some small hills. Rather about 7.8 vs 5 climbing those big ones. Now just hope for a pplan on Sunday so can figure out what do to about fuel before get into CA. Guess that I also get to stop at one of my favorite places to give this ride a bath, pending weather.
