Stupid hurricane now my trucks all dirty!!! Nothing like driving down a two lane curvy road with winds up around 40 mph and raining like crazy. It's following me. Got to West Virginia and not raining now windy and pouring here.

 

At THE Texas rest stop on the 40 ... going to mosey my way to Little Rock tomorrow, deliver Monday afternoon.

 

Well, Abby and I arrived here in Louisville KY this fine Sunday morning and the consignee is closed. Didn't see that one coming.

Driving down Muhammad Ali Blvd, I was thinking "oh yeah where is that book?." You see a few months ago in Delaware Abby and I were out for a walk and see this garage sale. I bought just one item-- Muhammad Ali's autobiography The Greatest for $0.50 cents. I started reading it but put it down and kinda forgot about it. Fate is telling me to finish the book lol cue up the Twilight Zone theme now.... do do do do do do do do

 

Dubuque, IA. Del in a.m., then over to Cedar Rapids then down Atlanta way for Weds morning drop.

 

Carlisle, PA, just dropped at Unilever and now I'm outta clock on my 70 so I sit til tomorrow. Just happy to be done with that load, grossed at 79600 with fuel on 2 and ran that sucker right down I68 in WV.

 

That's what I had, Unilever load. OK checked in yesterday (082811) 0800 and nobody was home at consignee. Came back this morning, there must have been 25 trucks waiting to be unloaded on this small hick street. I suspect like me, they were given Sunday appointment times and came back the next morning like I did. Didn't get emptied out til about 1400 local time. Got another cross country run now from here to Provo UT. TTFN
