St. Paul, IN, enrte to Maquoketa, and actually a drop for the first time. PTA was 1300, tried to send a plan to pu at 1300 in Muscatine and del at 0700 in Freemont. Could not see that happening, and this just after my DM telling me to stay out of OH. I really do not think that she is with it. Have been doing lots of better just using Mac 30 lately.

Swift is kinda like the government. So big, one agency (DM's) doesn't know what the other (Planners) is up to.

It's like log class in orientation (recently attended one for giggles to bone up on split breaking, this was a different terminal but it went verbatim to the orientation log class I attended), anyway, they teach it (barely) but heavily discourage it. Nobody told the Planners! Some of these loads can only be completed on time with split breaking!

They want you to run 58 miles per hour when heavy, nobody told the Planners! Still have to hotfoot it to make it on time.

Classic, your DM says stay out of Ohio, nobody told the Planners!

Got a load offer a couple weeks back, heading for hometime which I didn't need to do since I had missed the class I wanted to take anyway, ignored preplan, some planner msg me with their code name. So I reply, 'I don't need hometime at this time, what else you got?'
They replied- "Excellent! Now let's look for a real load." They got me a 2000 mile run however the hometime was still in effect lol turned and burned back for home.

Was on hometime a while back with an empty trailer, guy from PHX calls wanting that trailer back stat! I hem and haw and OK I will..... he goes home for the weekend, I keep the trailer for days. The company is almost too big now.

Anyway, still on the big 80 eastbound, more than halfway from Sacramento going to New Jersey-- will be able to see Manhattan from my delivery.

Walcott, IA. Got a nice different pplan this morning. pu in Cedar Rapids, down to Braselton, GA, lot better miles, and the best, total weight, 3367 lbs. Going to love the MPG on this one. Have to first stop at KW in Quad Cities in the morning. the AC went out. T/A will not touch it, not even look at it. Warranty and all.

Scottie, I agree with you, right hand, forget the left hand. the worst part, most of all my pplans come out of PHX because of the fleet that I am on. Right now, our POD is short one, and they are trying to train one.

That's great on the weight, mine is about 9000 pounds currently and running about 8.7 mpg.

Stopped at the Iowa 80 this morning -- took a nice shower and bought a fridge. Truck was already wired for it with switch and all. Evidently the previous lease operator ripped it out to pay some bills or perhaps fuel as when I signed for the truck I went in and asked for the maintenance history they said Onroad had been contacted twice for the truck running out of fuel.

Minooka IL eastbound tonite for New Jersey still. Hoping to get there soon enough to get a 34 before delivery on Friday morning then get some juicy load(s) to turn in before Wednesday to have a nice productive week to add to this 3000 mile load.

If I would have taken that Ohio load for Tomorrow, I would have ended the week with 3700. I can deal with the 3200 and a start of 850 come Thursday. I know that I can get long out of GA.
