Russells Truck Stop in Endee, NM. First time ever here, and what a great place. Especially to old car museum and the 50's and 60' collection.
Good night from...

Cool. I lived in Oregon for 25 years total and loved it but after living in AZ I can't wait to leave Oregon now when I go through. All that depressing grayness and rain makes me want to off myself.
-
Come on now, Oregon is beautiful 3 to 4 days a year...LaughingMan, AZS and Injun Thank this.
-
That is true, when it's nice it's hard to find better anywhere.Injun Thanks this.

Flaggstaff, AZ. Glad that I have winter coat in truck. Have a feeling that it will be cold in the morning.
-
Newnan, GA. Figured I'd drive through ATL at 0300 instead of evening rush hour. Probably wise.

My Great Grandmother is buried in Klamath Falls. After spending a night at a truck stop there, I was giving some serious thought to the idea that digging her up and taking someplace else would be a blessing.
Petro in York, NEscottied67 Thanks this. -
Wow what a day. Started out nice, drove for a few hours felt like a shower and laundry so grabbed shower and laundry bag, ran in threw 1 load in washer, then washed my bod, then came out and put 2nd load in washer 1st load in dryer, then nice big fat sit down breakfast. Drive for a few more hours, Low Coolant and Check Engine. Uh Oh. GPS shows truck stop icon couple miles ahead, I think I can make it-- yep. Turns out to be a broken hose clamp, go in and buy a cheapo Chinese made one that barely fits, in fact I broke it when I tightened it. Got another one on there but didn't kill it this time.... Onroad says they're sending a road call guy out in about an hour. So I fill the system with water and run the engine for about 10 minutes to see if there are any leaks. Walk Abby, discover a flat trailer tire now (bolt). Mac 55 again....
I see the road call place is right across the street lol so I go over there and they have the right clamp I need for the hose. $15 bucks as opposed to $3.99 Chinese made. So I'm draining all the water out, guy says 'drive your truck over here and we'll fix the tire; cheaper for Swift that way'. Cool, only Swift hasn't authorized the tire yet and the place is closing. I'm scrambling to dump 12 more gallons in the system so I can drive across the street, too late, even though I'm on their lot they charge Swift for the after hours road call. Anyway, a lot of stress and my 10 is up in a couple hours lol, I think I will sleep til I wake up-- no alarms.
