So I woke up today in the Phx terminal, was doing my pre trip and noticed a red tag on my trailer. Uhh hello, I just went through this in the fuel lines yesterday guys. On of my tandems was under 85'something psi and as we know that's a flat tire to them.
So I went and talked to the shop and there was 5 trucks ahead of me w/ same issues. Now im mad, I've got 1hr till I need to go deliver this load and its not looking to good.
So I play the squeeky wheel game, ask why now not 5hrs ago when I had time and why this and that. Long story short, tires fixed, I get to my final w/ 9mins to spare..
thought of a mac22, but I rolled the dice and won..

Walcott, IA. My pplan to Garland is becomming the load from heck. They changed the delivery from the 20th to the 27th. They will not take the drop early, so now my DM is trying to get me persmission to t-call it in OKC. Load picks up tomorrow, and I will be in OKC until I guess now Monday until someone makes a decision. My DM has had all day to get this taken care of, and now, they are gone for the weekend. We all know that weekend ECT does nothing when it comes to a situation like this. Always get a answer, deal with it on Monday. Will not let me t-call in Lancaster. Reason, I ran the miles off it. I think time for a new DM, get out of a POD, come Monday.

Rocksprings WY... Little wind coming from Denver, as usual. Not much snow. I always enjoy this drive. The scenery is something else.

I had started my clock about an hour and a half early today so I could have time to stop for a shower on the way to the shipper 125 miles deadheading. (Had spent the night at a Walmart after dropping off a driver to pick up his truck there). But going about 50 miles on US and state highways ate up that time down to 50 minutes for the shower so I opted for another Petro enroute to the final. Shipper took over 2 hours to live load so had to drive the 380 miles off with only 1 little 10 minute break in between.
Coming down the final stretch of 4 miles to the exit for the final, there was a fatality wreck and my QC was showing 13 minutes left. I arrived at the final destination at minus 2 minutes on my day -- oops. I dropped the trailer and bobtailed out, not going to go 2 nights in a row without a shower and hot meal thanku.

    Love's Memphis.

Percival, IA. Picked up my load, asked about the t-call, and still no decision. Either Edwardsville or OKC, but they can not decide. If Edwardsville, well, I guess no miles for me this weekend, then get to set there and wait for a load. If OKC, can not show up now until tomorrow afternoon, so again, no load until Monday. Time for a transfer. They have known about this since early Friday morning. There is no excuse for this. I know that I could just scoot on down to KC, but then if they decide to have me take it to OKC, then I have burned some hours that I really need right now, plus the out of route, not that much, but still. I have this feeling that I will be sitting until Monday morning when a decision is made, and right after that, I call to the FM and have a discussion and say, time for a change in DM/POD. My POD supervisor was even in today, and could not get a decision.

I wouldn't do Chumley even if he was free!

Temple, TX at a Shell station baby truck stop, exit 304, I-35. Just dropped canned veggies at Walmart Dc. Hometime Monday, Tuesday.

Had a close one the other night on I-20 in Mississippi. Going through a const zone at 3am spotted a large chunk of concrete debris w just enough time to slightly swerve to miss it. Tractor missed by a hair but RFO tandem hit it, shredded the tire, folded the wheel. If I'd hit it w steer it would have been ugly.
