It helps to have some snow overalls for that time of year in general. Get some rubberized gloves large enough to fit over a pair of wool shag gloves. Keeps your hands warm in that -10*... not all that expensive either.

Russel road T/A, IL. shut down way early. Finally had enough of the 25-30MPH headwinds/crosswinds all morning. 3k in the box.
-
Shut down in some gas station that I could back into along the 55 here in Missouri, near the Arkansas boarder..
Holy cow, the winds all day been rocking me like a bobber in a hurricane. Ran w/ 23k in the box and felt like I was zig zagging down the road, sheesh. Then I ran 185mi back down the 55 empty, ohh this was fun.
heading to texas in the am, hope the winds along the I40 are light, as I've got 13k in the box and sure could use a break.
Be safe guys... -
Off my home time in Denver.
Turned down a load because the PU time window was past the current time and I had no mt, so I adjusted the pu and delivery eta to reflect that. It was taken off me.
Then I got a pplan going from Denver to Denver (obviously a short t-call load), but it was removed just as I got the qc.
So, how is freight out of Denver these days?
Other than that...
Had a great time with my girls.
We went to the aquarium, and I was able to attend my oldest daughters winter concert. She plays the violin. (now, among others)
I also got to cook real dinners for a few days for everyone, which is always nice.
Made some hamburger in mashed 'taters the first night, chicken fried rice the secomd, and roast chicken breasts with baked potatoes and brocolli the third.
Yum!
You have not lived until you have experienced my very own chicken fried rice!
Hope I can get a load out of here soon. -

Jonestown, PA terminal getting a B service, doing a 34 reset. Nice terminal w really nice staff people. Found out destroying a trailer tire, wheel but not wrecking the truck and drunk driver beside me got me a preventable. I will be appealing. I have to do a LCQT and SIM class while I'm here tomorrow.
Delivered in Monroe, NJ yesterday then a d&h in Newark to tcall here. I haven't ben there in almost 40 years but its still the rectal sphincter muscle of the world. -
Petro in W. Memphis, AR. Deliver in a.m., then pu 2 stop load in MS, and del to Ottawa Sat. morning. 9K load, and hope that the winds stay in the same direction. It will be nice to finally have a tailwind with a lite load. Looks like I might need my waders in the morning around here.

Texarkana, FJ.
can't deliver load early so I called it a day. Taking off later to get this one off my back.
sent a walmart pp earlier, refused it. I know the only thing going on in that part of alabama is the paper mill, and I swore id never go back there.. so I kicked that load to the curb. Sry swift, not gonna go back.
So any word on the pp text messages being fixed? -

Last that I heard yesterday, still a glitch. Hope to get fixed before home time. How else know that have a pplan. Doubt that they would call. that would be to easy.Zukimart Thanks this. -
Tough day, massive snow fall, put chains on and off twice. Didn't make the distance I had hoped for today so tomorrow is set up for a high stress tough day again, arriving at the final near the end of the 11 hour clock, I hate that.
