Hamshoe: There is a huge warehouse behind that Pilot that, last time I was there, was vacant. I like to park on the east side of that warehouse. It's quiet and nobdoy will b**** about your parking spot or hit you.

    Hamshoe Thanks this.

I have found that I sleep much better if my head is pointed north and the truck leans just enough so my head is higher than my feet.

LOL...I like the entertainment that goes with truck stop parking...most nights I sit and watch for awhile....tonite I was the entertainment...errr....management made everyone parked (5 of us...and I don't blame them) where I was to move...and they made all the bobtailers get out of the big spots....just try to imagine the chaos..with everyone afraid they were gonna get hung out with no spot...and a Swift guy really clogging things up....sometimes a man needs to be humbled...and tonite was my nite.

The local cops love to write tickets for parking on the street by that Pilot. While I was with Prime, there was a blizzard going on. Lots of trucks parked on both sides of the street leading from the Pilot back to the warehouse. A BLIZZARD!!! Cops showed up and made everybody move. I was already in that warehouse parking lot...and very shortly, had lots of company, but still plenty of parking available.
