That was either the second or third shipper I went to as a solo driver. I remember it well! Kudos to you for planting your rig in that dock in one shot!

Still at home. Finally received a decent pplan that did not involve lots of mt. Sent one this morning, pu at 1300, 130 miles mt, then 350 ldd for 2300 tonight and then dh 200 miles to pu one at 0800 in TN. Take to Dallas. Too many mt miles, and how was I going to log 480 miles and still pu at 0800. Just did what I have been told many times, do not commit if you know that it is wrong, like the one from Cinci to ID. They still wanted me to commit just to cover the load on a Friday. With my luck, would have been pu and t-call somewhere on a Sat, and then sit all weekend in a terminal. Learned my lesson on those load.
Now pu a nice 8k load, 100 miles from me and take to N. Platte NE on the 14th. Open window. -
Going thru hometown on the way to delivery, was able to sneak home for a few hours. Will be taking hometime this coming weekend if not before....

#### almost had Amazon in Kentucky to UN load me a day early. Even gave me a dock number and then told to come back in the morning after I done backed up. Took back my Goal message as well !
Oh well stuck in a rest area in Kentucky because all the lazy truck drivers won't move out of the TA so I can park. Always amazes me how they seem to always be parked by 3PM and yacking on the CB fighting over who's sausage is bigger.
Next down to Owensboro for a pickup at 5PM then delivery the next day in Texas. What was Swift thinking on this. 800 miles in 24 hours? Hmm that's all good if I had a second driver on the truck!
They don't realize I have to start my clock at 7AM for the delivery at Amazon then drive 200 miles to pickup load then drive 800 to deliver it in the afternoon the next day ?????
It's going near home where I need to be on Thursday so how am I suppose to turn it down?scottied67 Thanks this. -
Blue,

Future reference ... you can pull around back of Amazon and see if the guard at CPS will let you shut down there. If not I've seen trucks shut down on the road going back there to CPS.
