Thanks, I thought I did everything right, I will call one more time tomorrow if I don't get paid (this like the 3rd time I've been denied detention recently) I will have the FM make a note in my screen that I refuse all future detention pay.

Still stuck in St Louis MO here, waiting for the KW shop to open up tomorrow to get my truck in. They have 2 sweet 2013 W900's here, one is pretty purple, thinking about trading up

Still trying to get some home time in MN, and it seems freight is hard to come by these days.

After my delivery tomorrow morning I will have a whopping 5 hours left on my 70, and probably 1/2 hour shy of being able to make it to Inver Grove Heights if I did manage to get a load tomorrow headed that way.
At least, until Tuesday when I'll have another 7 hours rolling in.

 

Albert Lea, MN at the TA where there's a tornado watch until 11pm. Swell! No pplan yet but Laredo planner sent msg to local area planners to get me headed toward Laredo asap. Actually I need a half day in San Antonio to file taxes and do some other stuff.

They take real good care of me there like they do most, if not all of the drivers from there. I know most of the people by name and they are getting to know me as well. Whenever I am "home" I make a point of going in the bullpen to bs with my dm, fm and most of the others.

If I get moved north before I head out I could go give momma a smooch for ya and let her know Swift is doing everything possible to get you there by 10 o'clock next summer. Let me know if I can help, pal.

Here in West Memphis, Petro. What a day. Lets see, Rolling hills of MO and AR + 20-30MPH winds, crosswise and headon plus 42K = drum roll please, 5.5 mpg. From what I can see on the weather map, does not look to let up all the way to FL. Was looking at the fuel filter, and does not look blocked, but it is charcoal black.

 

That may not be good ... listening to Rutherford today ... black may be a sign of algea in your fuel tanks.

Flying J outside of Columbus ... deliver in the AM, then grab a load heading up to PA for a Tuesday AM delivery.

 

I guess that's the problem.
I'm not from Laredo.

I spent nearly a week there waiting for a 2 hour fix.
I have spent many more days there waiting for loads out.
The last time I was there I had to take an extra 10 because the right people didn't get the right paperwork in order (even though I was dispatched already), and they would not be back in untill 8 the next morning.

I guess the home crowd gets the treatment, while the aways get 'the treatment'.

Do you 'home boys' also get clean showers? Because from what I have seen there, the showers are never that way.
