I see a lot of y'all are in the North west... Not gonna lie, wish I could stay in that region of the country. Currently in Rockwall, just east of Dallas on the 30.

Back in the USSA. Was trying to make it back to the drop yard to tcall my load and pick up the next one to turn and burn back to Calgary but I90 westbound was gridlocked with road work leading up to my exit 3 miles to go with 8 minutes to go..

I had taken a 2 + hour nap last night so now sitting at a truck stop chillin in the sleeper for 8. I will finish my drop and hook and turn for the border. Should have enough hours to get across to the other side and gain 2 extra hours of drive time. Canada's hours of service are a little more lenient, like you still need a 10, but you can do an 8 hour block sleeper/off duty any mix thereof and the 2 hours can be mixed up as well in blocks of time minimum of 30 minutes. Or you could take just 8 hours off today and take 12 off tomorrow, but 10 has to be a solid block of time off. But before you cross back to the US, make sure you took a full 10 off in a row or you'll be in trouble lol.

Heavy wet snow falling last night on the border of Alberta and British Columbia, 33 degrees.

At the Petro, Raphine, VA on I-81, exit 205. Place is huge with space for 450 trucks. About a half hour north a deer ran out of the median and smack into the tandems of a flatbed ahead of me which spun it around like a top and a car ran over its head. Today I had two run across in front of me, one thought about it until I airhorned it back and another ran across right behind me. Deer are about as road stupid as turtles and coyotes.

The interstate one lane construction zones are going to be a problem with the increase in vacation traffic. I sat in three today for a total of 2:47. I like elogs; almost three hours of "break" time...

I had a group of Hells Angels cruise by me today. The first few looked like they needed a shower so I decided it was a good time to clean my windshield. The ones that came by next were really friendly. They all waved to me although they must be somewhat lazy because, instead of using the whole hand, they only used one finger.

Also still at Lewiston. Had to loads offered last night and this morning, the same two, and would just not touch them. Deliver in CA on tuesday and N. Las Vegas Sat morning. Took the wife to the Golden Dragon again tonight, and it was old home week for her. One of the personell there was from the wife's home city, so a 3 hour talk fest. See what morning brings. Had a great time unloading the boom boom this morning. Was not even a warehouse, but a persons home. And for a thank you, they gave me 1/2 of a smoked Salmon fillet. it is now sitting in the cooler, all air sealed in wrap.

terminal. can walk to dynamart. I only delivered 12 miles away this morning. that screwed up the chance for a 34. Took the rest of the day off. Better chance of a decent load out in the morning, if us L/O get any priority. Also a couple of mentors here with students waiting.
