Really? I turned 700 today.... In California. Turned 806 yesterday & 773 the day before. But then again, I don't have the corporate rules to abide by like ya'll do.

It's possible. Remember you can drive up to 13.25 hours per 24 hour period. Start your day at 23:45, do your little pretrip then drive 11 hours, take a 10 hour break and start another pretrip and drive again til midnight and count up your hours and miles-- Redd did it at 52.8 miles per hour in that time I don't think anyone's willing to push over 60 in California in a CMV.

The strategic breaks are what make the difference. I took a few of those a couple of months ago and ran from Green Bay to Cameron MO and logged exactly 11hrs. Best I can remember, I recorded 677 miles in my book.

Please don't forget.... I own my truck & since I'm not leased to Swift, I am capable of doing the speed limit plus a couple extra mph. Arizona & New Mexico is 75 mph along with many other states. California won't touch you at 62/63 mph.

    Hamshoe Thanks this.
