I probably got my first service failure today.
I overslept, and was 2 hours late to my JIT delivery.

I sent in the Mac22 as soon as I could, and was told that the consignee would take delivery at that time.
But, I had to wait 2 hours for a dock. The place was busy.

Now I'll just have to wait and see if I get a SF on my record.
Oh well...

 

Moose, you are in Rockwall. Innkeeper, I hope that when CSR decides to send a trailer solution, that they will know that this pu requires certain trailer. If not, I know where there are two nice ones, right where I delivered today. Just did not want to drag one with me. Hopefully they will send a trailer solution that is close to the PU, and I can BT most of the way. I know that we have some trailers scattered between here and Beaumont.

 

Last truckstop on 70 in Eastern CO ex438. Nice little Mexican food place here too.

 

St. Regis, MT. Saw a sign for truck parking, bailed off of I-90 and here I am. Seems that somebody decided to build a parking lot with room for about 10 trucks/RV. Nice of them.

Nearly out of fuel and the Pilot just down the road in Superior only has 8 parking spots. It's almost certainly quieter here and I'll get fuel in the morning.

Delivered in Lewiston this afternoon then picked up at the paper mill with a load for Elwood, IL. Right next to Joliet....The Blues Brothers. Delivers Wednesday, will make for a nice week.

They don't allow pets so Abby and I went on down the road to Tooele UT, something like 20 miles from the final. It's all good, doing that will save 3 hours on my clock tomorrow. Mac 30 picking up in SLC going to Portland OR for Wed should end up with about 2400 miles.

 

Stopped there last summer for leg stretch and went ahead and grabbed a bite. Place was decent.

Well my morning went to heck ... show up for an 8AM appointment at a grocery DC and get a your appointment is for 8PM ... they'll try to work me in ... lol.
